Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I've been sending messages about wanting to cancel my subscription and no one is listening to me. I want my refund ASAP. The code that is sent to you is only good for 5 minutes, and I received it much later.

Verified ReviewerAmazing product but when the accounts department have your credit card number it becomes a nightmare
Bought a single machine antivirus in 2023, wanted to upgrade to a 5 machine antivirus now in 2024, however the website makes it impossible to cancel old subscription. Trying the chat option to cancel the subscription is also a joke. I will have to revert to Hello peter and other platforms to get some customer support.

I have used this company for several years. The last couple of times I have had constant issues.
Still, I thought they were ok, they are NOT. This time I bought a different package, paid, and did everything. It's not working. I tried numerous days to contact them - the company to which you pay the money.
Nothing. Oh, I did get an email telling me Bitdefender has to OK all refunds. I asked for help many times first; that's what I wanted. Since they chose not to respond and the other program is set to expire, I want my refund.
That's a whole other story. No program, I am going to make sure my money is refunded.
A 30-day guarantee right? So far, nothing, but the credit card company is on the side of 'we only pay for what our customers get.

I purchased Bitdefender Plus for 1 year. I have 85 days left on my subscription.
On my iphone, I had Bitdefender installed and active with my yearly subscription. I got rid of my iphone and switched to an Android phone.
I used my Bitdefender account to link my Android phone in the "Add a New Device" section. The "Add a New Device" says I can add two more devices.
When I tried to add my new Android phone to my paid subscription, it wouldn't add my Android. Bitdefender wants me to purchase another subscription for my Android phone.
I called customer service who told me that Bitdefender Plus only adds new Windows devices, not an Android phone.
Really? I had my Bitdefender account linked on my iphone? What's the problem with Android phones? I also have Bitdefender on my Windows laptop.
On my laptop it says I can add two more devices.
An Android phone doesn't count as a new device, but an iphone does? An iphone isn't a Windows device. Bitdefender is messed up and customer service wasn't helpful.
When I opened the app on my Android phone, it shows on the Bitdefender app that I have 85 days left on my yearly subscription. Yet, that's as far as I can get into the app.
There is no other option to link my Android phone to my paid subscription to add a new device, even though I am logged into Bitdefender on my Android phone. It recognizes me through the Android app. It's just not going to recognize my account as being a paid subscription for my Android phone.
Bitdefender customer service said I have to buy a separate subscription for my Android phone. That is not going to happen.
I am not renewing Bitdefender in 85 days.
I will go elsewhere for an anti-virus program/app for Windows and Android. Bitdefender wanted more money from me when I already have a paid subscription.
Well, now they won't get any money from me. Do the math.
I will never use Bitdefender anywhere on anything again.
Preferred solution: I want Bitdefender to add my Android device to my current paid subscription that clearly states that I can add two more devices.

Customer service has a lack of knowledge of their own product. They claim they are not able to cancel my subscription, the guy said ONLY SOMEONE ON LEVEL 2 CAN CONSIDER DOING THAT.
What the HECK does that even mean!?
Consider? Very dissatisfied with their customer service and Im also done with their product and their auto renewal.

I keep getting a screen blocker and urged to call a number. I ran the Bitdefender antivirus but nothing appears infected.
I have a printscreen.
Unfortunately no provision here to attach it. It does look like a spam or phising.
site is https://orange-mud followed by random letters then staticapps.net and more garbage plus too much tralala decor. Prolem is it comes back despite ctrl+alt+delete Edge

Bundled Packages
I use your free anti-virus. I love it!
I constantly get ads for discounts on upgraded products. I would love to upgrade to your Total Internet Security package, but unfortunately just like all the other vendors, you are bundling products I have no need for. I don't understand why? I'm sure your market research tells you that companies like Nord and 1Password dominate the VPN and Password Manager space.
1. Why would you try to compete with them? Those products are far superior to anything else on the market. 2.
Why am I forced to buy products I don't need when I'm perfectly happy to pay for upgraded anti-virus with firewall...which I do no have the option to do. I imagine I'm not the only person you are forfeiting subs in the name of bundling.
Please stop. I don't know anyone who likes this practice.

I've been a customer of Bitdefender since 2021 and think it's a great product but just cancelled my auto renewal as the yearly price is too much for me.
If I was a new customer I'd be able to buy the Total Security for half what my renewal price is.
I'd like to know if there's an option to pay monthly, which would be much easier, or if loyal customers can get a discount please.

i took the person that I spoke to 20 minutes to the spelling of my name. He could barely speak English.
I asked him if i could speak to his boss and he said NO you have to speak to me. I guess there service is based on getting paid for doing nothing...

Poor Service
I was advised by my computer engineer to change my laptop security system from 360 Security to Bitdefender Premium Security which I tried to do using my LLoyds Private Banking Debit Card I use a lot and this was also checked by Lloyds Security on the Is this a scam provision . It would seem that my card is for some reason not accepted by your online system .
I made 2 calls to a Bitdefender Help line and on the second call I was told my card could have run out which it does not until October 2025 . In view of the person be so unhelpful I just gave up trying to talk any more .
I would appreciate being told I am not wanted as a client and I will then make other arrangements for security of my devices. It does make me think that if Bitdefender is so unhelpful in getting me started the security of my devices are suspect .

I need to remove bitdefender because i am getting rid of the computer it is installed on. accessed the program in control panel, programs, programs and features, highlighted bitdefender total security clicked on uninstall, got error message "you do not have sufficient access to uninstall bidefender total security, contact you system administrator.

Maybe you have a comprehension problem. The service I paid for clearly states that I can add two more devices.
One device that I have using my subscription is not Windows.
So, go ahead smarty pants. Tell me more about the "fine print" that you know nothing about.
