I purchased Bitdefender internet security 2017 , but I did not get the software download link until I purchased an additional software named “Install and setup application”. The web page did not say that it was necessary to buy extra software. The price was fare without extra software. The purchase went through momentarily. I contacted the Avantage via the web page, but did not get any answer, neither any answer to my email contact to Bitdefender. I have been writing to Bitdefender in two weeks since, but no body answers. I do not think I can trust BD anymore and thus, I requested refund, still no answer. It is not possible to contact them by phone. In the meantime, I am not sure if it was wise to give the control of my computers to such a company.

Notice your marketing team that their strategy sucks and that they're losing clients. See the Reddit forum on that, a lot of people are of my opinion and have similar experiences. Your gonna crash if you don't change your ways, or maybe it's already late.

I don't recommend bitdefender

Bitdefender re subscription, Iwant you to know how displeased I am with not being able to find my activation code. If an account is paid And yes you have their email , why not just send the activation code to the email ? How about your support personnel ? They can verify an account is paid , so why not send out to there email that's on record ? Furthermore, when my subscription was coming to an end I was asked to repurchase at an INFLATED Price . The time I used to find the price I wanted to pay gave me time to think "my time should be better spent trying to support my needs not yours" I only bought a one year subscription and will consider ALL of my options . If the YEARS of my comment or purchase history mean nothing to you ? Your business model needs to appreciate people ,not just think of them as prey

Becarful don't buy or try Bitdefender

Dec 20 2016 Hi, We been using Bitdefender on XP, paid program. works so and so, support is very slow 2-3 days, some times a week no comments, but we manage. We move to Windows 10 it's not working, keep warnings, terrible. But..after 12 month they charge your credit card or PayPal automatically, if you want your money back..no, it's long way. What the trick? If you ask for refund they won't reply until, or move you around for 30 days, than after 30 days they tell you it's over time... Maybe the software is good, service is terrible and the worse they are stealing your money, just like this. Happy new 2017

Dispute the auto renewal charge. By the way, you really do not need to pay for anti virus software.

There are many free ones out there, eg., Avast free edition which work rather well.

Bitdefender is no better than others. Why pay for this stuff??
